How do you make an easy Acai Bowl with balsamic vinegar?

Acai bowls are a very popular breakfast alternative. Full of antioxidants, protein and fiber….it is a great way to start the day. The problem is, fresh acai is hard to come by and processed purees are void of nutritional value as a result of pasteurization, chemical preservatives and high heat. Our balsamic vinegar makes it easy to come by the ripest most potent acai berries around. They are freeze-dried at their ripest; a period during which nutrition is also maximized. Adding balsamic vinegar to your bowl not only enhances the flavor profile, but health benefits as well.

How do you make an easy Acai Bowl? Simple, with these 5 steps:

  1. Add frozen bananas, frozen berries (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries), apple juice, vanilla yogurt and our Modena IGP Balsamic Vinegar in a blender.
  2. Blend on a low speed until smooth. You want the bowl to be thick enough to eat with a spoon, but if it is turning out to be too thick, add more apple juice and repeat blend.
  3. Pour into chilled bowls.
  4. Top with desired fruit (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, raspberries, blackberries) granola, almonds, chia seeds or a combination of any of these.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
